SHAKESPEARE will be coming back to the Town Square this summer thanks to Crediton Arts Centre, which is proudly being sponsored by Veitch Penny.

This will be Crediton Arts Centre’s ninth performance of Shakespeare in the Square and this year they will be performing "Henry IV" and "Henry V".

The Crediton-based solicitors have sponsored several performances of Shakespeare in the Square over the years but feel this is probably the most ambitious plan yet!

This year the cast will perform two Shakespearean plays on alternate nights over five days culminating with both performances on the final matinee and evening show.

Veitch Penny partner, Catherine Rosewell recently attended the launch of Shakespeare in the Square and was hugely impressed by the enthusiasm of those taking part.

She comments: “This year’s project is certainly ambitious and will require dedication by the cast and back stage crew. We know they can pull it off and we’re sure it’s going to be a great event.

“As always we’re delighted to support Shakespeare in the Square, which has such a positive impact on the Crediton community.”

The Arts Centre’s five-night production will be performed in the Town Square from Tuesday, July 5 to Saturday, July 9, including a matinee and evening performance on the Saturday.
