THERE were 15 3/4 tables in play at the August Whist Drive at Upton Pyne on Sunday, August 13, which was run by David Taverner with Sarah Chown as MC.

Prizes went to: Ladies - 1 Violet, 2 Sue, 3 Jean Dixon.

Gents - 1 Frances Knott, 2 Mervyn Sharland, 3 joint, Ron and Bob.

The next Upton Pyne Whist Drive will be held on at the village hall on Sunday, September 10, at 2pm.
