THERE are two fabulous festive events at Eggesford Garden Centre in December with the Christmas Gift Fair being held on Sunday, December 4 and the Christmas Fair the following Sunday, December 11.

With more than 25 stalls to browse, the fairs are great opportunities to find some unusual Christmas gifts and tasty treats. Both events run from 11am to 4pm and entry is free.

“The Christmas fairs are really popular with our customers as they are at just at the right time for Christmas shopping and you don’t have all the stress of big crowds and queues for expensive car parking – it’s a lot more relaxed here!” said Derrick Dyer, owner of Eggesford Garden Centre.

“There is always a good range of stalls selling everything from delicious hand-made chocolate through to unique wooden Christmas decorations.”

The garden centre has a host of gift ideas along with cards, wrapping paper and Christmas delights. It’s not only stocking fillers for the gardener, there is something for everyone at Eggesford - from delicious confectionery and seasonal treats through to “TIGI” ladies clothing and scarves.

There are practical presents, books and toys for children of all ages as well as stocking fillers, puzzles and games. You can even get your pet a present from the range of treats and squeaky toys and, as dogs are welcome in the shop, he could even choose his own!

Don’t forget that plants make great gifts too and you can take advantage of the free plant gift wrapping service.

And if that’s not enough, with a range of goodies made by talented Devon folk, the newly-opened Little Butterflies Craft and Gift Shop is also based at Eggesford Garden Centre.

There is so much more to Eggesford Garden Centre than plants and shrubs so why not make it your one stop Christmas shop?
