A TWO Coronations Walk will be held for children on Friday, June 2 at 10.30am starting at the Boniface Statue in Newcombes Meadow, Crediton.

The date coincides with the 70th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The walk, which will be led by Heather Sansom on behalf of Crediton Library, will focus on Royalty who have passed through or visited Crediton.

Heather has put together an album containing 70 photographs that can be viewed and discussed together with a letter she sent to King Charles III and the reply from Buckingham Palace.

Heather is collecting comments from people who have royal memories to add to her book, which is to be archived for future generations to read.

The walk is open to children of all ages and accompanying adults and is wheelchair accessible.

Heather is encouraging those attending to take along a picnic and make the most of the day.
