CREDITON Operatic and Dramatic Society (CODS) will present eagerly-awaited concerts next month.

Two of the numbers to be performed at the concerts, which has a Weather theme, will be Don't Rain on my Parade and Whistle Down the Wind.

The concerts will take place at the Boniface Centre on Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4.

The evening's entertainment will start at 7.30pm but the audience is encouraged to arrive early to make use of the licensed bar and to settle in.

This year's concerts feature a four piece band backing both the choral items and the soloists.

Many younger members of CODS have been given the opportunity to perform solo items.

The theme has given CODS a wide range of songs from which to choose.

There are only about 20 tickets left for the Friday performance so don't delay orders for tickets.

Tickets are priced at £12.50, which includes a two-course meal.

They can be purchased from Olivia James Design, High Street or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]">[email protected].

Also on sale at Olivia James Design are tickets for CODS performances of "Jack The Ripper" the musical.

This will take place in QECC Upper School Hall, Western Road from Wednesday, October 27 to Saturday, October 30 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 if purchased before September 30, after which the price will increase to £9.
