THE Crediton Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival is fast approaching and this year the Crediton Courier has decided to hold a competition for its readers to design and make the decorations for their tree.

The best entries will be used to decorate the tree and the winning entry will be used at the top the tree.

The winner will also receive a cash prize of £25.

Anyone of any age can enter as there is no age limit.

The hand-crafted entries need to be light enough to hang on the tree, can be made of any material and be no larger than four inches.

Entries must be received by the Crediton Courier, 102 High Street, Crediton EX17 3LF, by mid-day on Friday, November 16.

Please include your name, address and a day-time telephone number.

The winner will be announced on Friday, November 23.

The usual Courier competition rules apply. The decision of the General Manager will be final.
