I've just watched the cyclists go by Bow, but found quite a few things surprising, there were:

more police on motorcycles than there were cyclists/not including their own motorcyclists

three times as many cars as there were cyclists

about six times as many people, as there were cyclists

four cars carrying spare parts, all brand new middle of the range Mercedes

and most of all, seeing this was NOT an emergency, all police motorcyclists travelling with their blue lights flashing, at 60mph plus, in a built up area, between the bridge west of Bow and the Co-op about 400yds, which is a 40 mph limit

Considering the overall cost is this worth it? Seeing it all has to be PAID for, in my opinion, for what its worth, NO!
