CREDITON Library is joining other libraries in Devon with a three for two DVD rental offer until February 27.

The aim is to encourage people to stay indoors and curl up with a good movie – not a bad idea in this cold spell!

Devon County Council library users can choose the latest big screen blockbusters, as they are released, for as little as £3 for a week's rental.

General titles are available at £2 for the week with children's and special interest titles available at £1 for a week's rental.

TV series box sets are available for the dedicated viewer at £4 for a week's rental.

Councillor Stuart Barker, Devon County Council's Cabinet Member with responsibility for libraries explained: "The Christmas season of TV films and programmes may be over but there is plenty more on offer from Devon's libraries."

He added: "The wide selection of titles on offer means there is something for everyone and our three for two offer gives library users even better value for their money, at a time when most households may be watching their budgets."

DVD's from Devon's libraries can be returned to any library within Devon.
