THREE local charities had a pre-Christmas bonus thanks to the Crediton High Street Co-op.
The Crediton branch held its annual Celebration Day, which is a day when it connects with its local communities and celebrates the money raised in store for good causes by shop customers using their Co-op Membership card.
Customers select the cause and the Co-op donates 2p from every £1 spent towards the total fund.
Age Concern Crediton received £987.02 and Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) Mid Devon received £842.75.
Noah’s Ark Preschool from Cullompton also received £842.75.
The cheques to the charities were presented by Loic Xavier Rana, Member Pioneer for Exeter Pennsylvania and Crediton Co-op branches.
