THE sounds of Motown will be heard in the depths of Devon on Saturday, June 15, when Motown and Soul Diva, Diane Shaw and her six-piece band will be performing in Bow Village Hall.

The audience will be able to dance and sing along to songs by Motown and Soul 60’s legends Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin through to the best of modern day artists.

Diane, who sang to 15 million viewers as Diana Ross on ITV’S “Stars In Their Eyes” final in 1998, performs her unique female Soul Motown Tribute Show across the world in high profile venues.

Due to her inimitable stage presence and unique vocal styling, she has regularly been honoured to share the stage with Stars of the Soul and Motown world. These have included Tito Jackson, Sister Sledge, The Stylistics, George McCrae and Alexander O’Neal.

Similarly, she has toured with and supported Motown stars such as Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Contours, Kim Weston, Brenda Holloway and many more.

Diane has had a successful recording career reaching the Soul charts. Two of her albums have received worldwide critical acclaim and became the best-selling UK Soul Albums of the year in 2015 and 2018.
