A FANTASTIC new musical play written by Jez Taylor, in collaboration with the Crediton Youth Theatre, will be presented at Crediton Arts Centre on Saturday, February 20.

The play, entitled The Cruise, will be performed twice at 4pm and 7.30pm.

Somewhere in space, the cruiser Glorieuse is floating, offering the height of luxury and the ultimate holiday experience to the solar system’s rich elite.

Ten days from port, passengers complain of feeling unwell, members of the crew hallucinate and the ship starts to behave as if it has a mind of its own.

It soon becomes apparent that unseen forces are at work and no-one can escape the threats from without and within.

This innovative show, from the people who brought you “Operation Belinda”, will feature live original music. It will be performed by members of the youth theatre, following a week of intensive rehearsals during the half-term holiday.
