A GREAT summer holiday activity is Sandford’s Scarecrow Trail in aid of Sandford School.

There are more than 20 traditional-style scarecrows located around the village of Sandford.

In addition to the scarecrows, which have been created by businesses and individuals, there is an anagram to complete from the letters along the way.

There is also additional scarecrow art around the Millennium Green and at the school bike shelter.

Trail Maps with the fun challenge cost £4 and are available from Sandford Community Stores.

The Stores is open Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, closed 1pm to 2pm, Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm and Sunday, 10am to 12 noon.

The Trail is in place until September 10.

Those who take part can vote for their favourite scarecrow.
