SUSTAINABLE Crediton is inviting everyone to go along to Crediton Town Square tomorrow, September 25, from 11am to 2pm, when it stages its Big Green Fair.

Those attending will be able to catch up with friends; pedal their way to smoothie heaven thanks to Ride On, Exeter; (take some fruit if you can, but Sustainable Crediton will supply what it is able to) and find a tasty bite to eat courtesy of Catch 77 CIC from Bradninch.

You could also contribute to Sustainable Crediton’s Wish Tree: write down what your hopes and dreams for a greener future in Crediton and beyond? Send your sustainability message to our MP, Mel Stride or find out about the Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill.

All the family can join in with making for Moths to a Flame mass participation art installation which will be built at COP26 in Glasgow.

There will be musical entertainment from The Turning Tides Project and other local musicians.

You can find out the latest from Co Cars on their plans to install charging points and locate an electric car share vehicle in Crediton.

Visitors can also swap plants at the Crediton Garden Club stall: divide and donate any surplus seedlings, seeds and plants and take along. The club will also be announcing its new programme of monthly speakers.

Meet up with local producers and businesses who work to sustainable objectives: local honey, insect and pollinator friendly plants, herb growing, gardening, orchards.

Meet representatives from your Town and District Councils to discuss how you think they should tackle the climate emergency.

Talk to Extinction Rebellion supporters and find out what they want and why they use non-violent protest to further their aims.
