WHAT would the festive season be without a scary ghost story?
The Victorian writer M.R. James is acknowledged as the master of the seasonal spooky tale, and a collection of the best stories rolls up to Crediton Arts Centre on Saturday, December 14 at 7.30pm.
“Don’t Go into the Cellar” are a Birmingham company specialising in Victorian and Edwardian theatre, and “The Witching Hour” finds them at their most macabre.
From the horrors of “An Episode of Cathedral History” to the spectral revenge in “A Warning to the Curious”, it promises to be an evening guaranteed to chill your spine and raise your goose-bumps in this traditional pre-Christmas treat.
The writer, Jonathan Goodwin, plays Montague Rhodes James in “The Witching Hour”, a show suitable for 12+, which is directed by Gary Archer.
