CREDITON Garden Club held a very successful Annual Meeting at Crediton Library on March 27.

We were all delighted to sign up four new members and hope that they become active and involved members. The standing committee were block voted into position unopposed.

Club chair Krys Dunn gave an illustrated talk entitled “My Gardening Heroines”, which was well received.

For the April 24 meeting the club has been invited to Homeleigh Garden Centre at Barnstaple Cross (Crediton Garden Centre) for a tour of the nursery and a talk from the horticulturalist. We will be meeting at 7.30pm in the Garden Centre car park. All welcome.

Reminder: We invite you to our second Plant and Produce sale to be held on May 5 at Crediton Library from 10am to 12 noon. Refreshments will be available.

If you have any plants or produce to donate please either telephone 01363 899238 (code must be dialled) or take them along to the library during the event. Thank you in advance.

Please be aware that the poor growing conditions that gardeners have experienced means that many regular plants might not be available.
