Dear Courier readers
MENTAL health issues do not discriminate race, religion, age, financial status, fame, talent or gender.
According to mental health support charity Samaritans, in 2017, in the UK, men are three times as likely to take their own lives than women. And according to one BBC article, suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45.
As a student working towards becoming an accredited psychotherapist and a Samaritan volunteer for some time, I'm interested in understanding more about what lies behind the figures and, what as a future counsellor, are the issues I need to be aware of in order to try to help reduce suicide rates amongst my fellow men.
If men could spend just a few minutes filling in my confidential survey, I would really appreciate it and promise to use the data for good.

Many thanks in advance, keep talking and listening.
