NOW in its seventh year, the Christmas Tree Festival at Sandford Congregational Church next month, will feature a display of more than 30 decorated trees.

With a theme “Step into Christmas” the festival will run from Thursday, December 12 until Sunday, December 15.

Many village organisations and businesses will decorate trees including Sandford Good Companions, Sandford School, the Sunflowers after school club, tennis club, parish council, St Swithun’s Church, Summerhayes Residential Care Home, Sandford Orchards, Dave Totterdell, the Community Stores, Meadowside Garage, Chiddenbrook Surgery and many more.

In the church hall there will be refreshments available every day between 12 noon and 5pm along with a raffle.

The official opening will be at 12 noon on Thursday. At 2pm, there will be a performance by Sandford School Reception and Year One pupils who will be singing festive songs.

On Friday, December 13, Sandford Sings will give a performance of festive songs from 1.30pm.

On Sunday, December 15 at 4pm a Carol Service, with Pamela Tilney Ellis and friends will bring the weekend to a close with refreshments to follow.

All funds raised will go to church renovations.
