THE Parish Church Flower Festival in Crediton will not be taking place in June this year as the country will still be under restrictions, but there are plans to celebrate St Boniface Day instead.

To celebrate, cream teas will be served in the centre on Saturday, June 5 from, 2pm to 5pm and there are plans to open the church in an informal way.

The outside of the Boniface Centre will be decorated and indoor seating will be in pods of six and socially distanced, but if the weather is suitable there will be take-away teas that can be eaten in the churchyard.

All proceeds will be in aid of the Parochial Church Council PCC.
