RUPERT Poole, Principal at QE School in Crediton, has written to all Parents and Carers to inform them that, as he wrote: "Regretfully, there has been a member of the school community who has tested positive for Covid-19."

In an announcement released this evening, Thursday, October 29, he continued: "QE staff are working closely with Public Health England and are following their advice.

"For the small number of students who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19), their parents/carers have received a phone call and email from the school informing them that their child must stay at home for 14 days.

"All other students will attend as normal after the half-term break when school will be open as usual from Monday, November 2."
