BRITISH Sign Language tutor, Lesley Rogers, who lives in Cheriton Fitzpaine, has been holding training sessions in the village Methodist Hall for local people.

She is committed to helping deaf people to communicate and manages to enthuse her students. Some of the group met in the Ring of Bells pub for a meal, and had a “Silent Sunday” evening, communicating (for most of the time) with signs.
