Shobrooke events for refugees
THE first of two fundraising events in Shobrooke this month has taken place in aid of Refugee Support Devon.

The Shobrooke Bus Stop Bakery raised £98.81p for Refugee Support Devon.
The second event, a book launch, will take place on Wednesday, June 22 at the Red Lion, Shobrooke at 7.30pm.
There will be a brief talk from two representatives of Refugee Support Devon, followed by music from The Woodmen and readings from the book Words Without Walls a short anthology of work by The Shobrooke and Stockleigh Pomeroy Writing Group - consisting of fiction, poetry and memoir.
