SEVEN interesting and varied gardens in Copplestone will be open as part of an Open Gardens’ event taking place in the village on Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24.

The gardens featured are: at Tower View, Reflections, Eastlands, Copplestone Railway Station, Railway Cottage, Bewsley Edge and 43 Fernworthy Park.

Opening times on both days will be from 12 noon to 5pm and there will plant sales, garden games, a treasure hunt and refreshments available.

Parking will be available at The Mill and Recreation Field.

Entry to the event will be £5 per person for all seven gardens, just pay on the day at The Mill or at the entrance to the first garden.

All profits raised will be shared between fundraising for the new Copplestone Community Hall and Hospiscare.
