LANDSCORE Primary School collected food for Crediton Foodbank to mark Harvest recently.

Although the traditional harvest assembly couldn’t take place, each class celebrated in their classrooms so that the children could still have time to reflect and be grateful for all that we have.

The school was very keen to support the work of the Foodbank here in the town and so requested pupils bring in tinned and dried foods for the Foodbank to redistribute to those in need.

Staff were blown away by the amount of food the children and their families donated, as were the food bank staff who came to collect it.

Headteacher, Debbie Main stated she was “totally overwhelmed by the kind generosity of the Landscore families, especially in these very difficult times for everyone.”
