Scarecrow trail returns to Sampford Courtenay

WEST Devon residents have been invited to judge this year’s Sampford Courtenay Scarecrow Trail, which will run throughout August until September 5.

This will be the first scarecrow trail in several years and will see 17 scarecrows, made by residents, on display dotted around the village.

Members of the public will be able to vote for their top three scarecrows, and the winner will be announced at the annual Flower, Produce and Craft Show at the village hall.

Everyone who voted will also be entered into a raffle, with one winner drawn out on the day.
