A CONVERSATION over a beer in The Lamb Inn at Sandford resulted in an evening of music and dancing, an Auction and a Raffle to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Appeal on Saturday, April 23.

The band, “Still hate Thatcher”, waived its fee for providing the music, The Lamb provided the venue free-of-charge (and sold many raffle tickets in advance) and many local businesses and private individuals gave generous donations.

As of Monday, April 25, the money paid into the DEC Appeal was an incredible £1,191.10.
