Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 7pm July 23 to 6am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Woodleigh exit slip road closure 24/7 for South West Water works, diversion via Whiddon Down junction.

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8am to 4pm on August 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to 27, hard shoulder closure for horticultural works.

A30, from 8pm August 3 to 6am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Moor Lane, Exeter to Daisymount, Ottery St Mary carriageway closure and M5 both directions, junction 29 exit and entry slip road closures for maintenance works, diversions via M5, junction 30.

M5, from 8pm August 12 to 6am August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 27 exit slip lane closure for structure maintenance.

M5, from 8pm August 14 to 1am August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 27 narrowed lanes on entry and exit slip roads for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
