Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further four closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 9pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 exit slip road closure for electrical works, diversion to junction 26 and return.
• M5, from 10pm April 4 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 entry slip closed for electrical works. Diversion via southbound to junction 28 and back.
• M5, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 28 to 27 lane closure for inspections.
• M5, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 28 to 27 lane closure for inspections.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
