RIDGE House Residential Home at Morchard Bishop held its annual Summer Fayre from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, August 31, and it was well-attended and a great success.

The event took place inside and in the gardens at Ridge House and included tombola, games, stalls, a teddy bear raffle, bumper draw, cream teas and much more.

Bethanie Cheffings, manager, said: "Our Annual Summer Fayre was a great success again this year and we raised £600 for Exeter Hospice.

"The sun was shining and a lovely afternoon was had by all.

"I would like to say a very big thank you to those who helped, contributed and joined us on the day.”
