A SUMMER Fayre held at Ridge House Residential Home at Morchard Bishop on Saturday, August 25, raised £560 for the charity, Children’s Hospice South West.
The residents of the home decided on the choice of charity and there was a real effort by many people to make it a huge success.
Staff and family of residents ran stalls, a tombola, helped with the cream teas, fresh produce stall or donated items.
Beth Cheffings, manager, said: “Along with the home owners Zak and Shirin, I would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to our annual Summer Fayre, which was a great success.
“The afternoon fair took place in the grounds of Ridge House in the beautiful sunshine and was enjoyed by everyone.
“We would like to thank everyone who contributed, donated and came on the day.
“It was a huge success for a great charity and everyone was incredibly generous.”
