Representatives from a number of organisations visited homes in the area during the hours of 10am and 4pm.
For those who were not at home during the day there was a joint police and council surgery between 6pm and 7.30pm, from a police van parked at the bottom of Spruce Park.
The Police, Fire and Rescue, Mid Devon District Council, Crediton Town Council, Age Concern and Devon Youth Service were organisations that took part in the action day.
They visited Barnfield, Barnfield Close, Barn Park, Bowden Hill, Brays Close, Park Street, Hunivers Place, Butt Parks, Cherry Gardens, Spruce Park, Winswood, Spinning Path Gardens and Cockles Rise.
The aim was for organisations to gain information and views about the neighbourhood and identify any priorities.
A wide variety of free services and advice were offered, including home security checks and fire safety checks.
Community safety officer, Julia Ryder explained: "Residents were given the opportunity to discuss any local or private issues they have.
On the day, 140 forms were filled in, 11 fire service referrals were taken and 40 Community Messaging forms were completed."
The information is currently being entered onto a database and referrals will be sent to each service or agency in the near future.
