A HIGHWAY’S Surgery will be held on the first and third Thursday of the month at Crediton Council Offices in Market Street, from 10am -1pm to allow members of the public to discuss highways related issues.

Devon County Councillor Nick Way and Steve Tucker of Devon County Council Highways will be available to deal with highways related issues.

Nick explained: "With the reduction of Devon County Council budgets it is important for members of the public and parish councillors to have the opportunity to speak directly to Devon Highways with any problems they may have."

Members of the public can also visit the website: www.roadworks.org which will list almost all programmed roadworks in the county.

The website allows people to report highways issues such as potholes, blocked gully’s, defective road markings or signs, flooding, blocked drains and broken manhole covers. Existing problems can be tracked by entering the reference number in the problem tracking section.

The next two surgeries will be held at the Council Offices on July 7 and July 21.

Booking is advised. Telephone 01363 773717.
