SUNDAY, November 11 will see the 100th Anniversary of The Armistice marked at Coldridge.
There will be the usual Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 10.40am and in Church in the morning.
In the evening, Coldridge Parish Council will be providing a further, active commemoration of the Centenary with a Beacon-Lighting at 7pm, a bugler etc in Church Field.
There will also be a Bring-and-Share Supper in the Village Hall. The event will start at 5pm and finish at 9pm.
There will be space to exhibit any historical items or family photos, documents or memorabilia so those attending are asked to take along anything they would like to exhibit.
A bell will also be tolled at Coldridge Parish Church to honour those from Coldridge and Nymet Rowland who were killed in World War One and Two.
