FOR many years I have kept clear glass jars, many with lids, for re-use mainly for those who make jam or pickles.

This has, until recently, been quite successful.

But, recently there has been a "down turn" in the need for the jars.

I have now managed to dispose of my stock of jars, some for further use and the rest in the curb box to the local authority recyclers.

From now on I shall put the jars out with my normal recycling.

To those who have supported me I say "Thank you."
