QUEEN Elizabeth’s School in Crediton is celebrating the best A-level performance of any school, in both the private and state sector, in the whole of Devon!

Principal, Rupert Poole, said: “We are absolutely delighted that both our A level progress and Academic progress scores are the highest in Devon, and by a considerable margin!

"Our students have done exceptionally well to get these results and it is a real credit to them – they have worked so hard to get them, and ultimately this will support them to go on and achieve their goals at university or in their chosen careers.

"There are lots of positive figures in the published league tables and the results show real academic excellence throughout our Sixth Form.

"Queen Elizabeth’s Sixth Form has consistently been judged to be ’Outstanding’ by Ofsted and these results totally support that judgement.

“Well done to all of the students, and thank you to all the staff that have done such a great job supporting them.”
