ON Thursday, December 14 Year 7 and 8 students from Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton enjoyed the school’s annual Christmas Carol Concert, held at Crediton Parish Church.

The Rev Preb Nigel Guthrie, who was also a school Governor at QE, presided over his 15th and final QE Christmas Carol concert before moving on to his new appointment in Exeter.

After the service the students gave Nigel a warm round of applause as Assistant Principal, Alastair Smith, thanked him and presented a small gift from the Music department, who have worked closely with him over the years.
