THE Punchbowl Recycling Centre near Yeoford will be closed until further notice due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The closures of this Household Waste Recycling Centre, and the Crowndale Recycling Centre in Tavistock, are a result of staff shortages caused by staff members or their families self-isolating.

Councillor Andrea Davis, Devon County Council’s Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Development and Waste said: “We have taken these measures to protect our staff and the public.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause local people and ask they use one of our other facilities. Their locations and opening times can be found on Devon County council’s website.”
