AT the first Yeoford country market held in April, one of the stalls was raising funds for the community garden at the side of the Community Hall.

This raised £72 which meant Dee Hawkins, who more or less runs the garden, was able to buy a heater for the polytunnel and compost.

There was no market in May because the Community Hall was booked for a table top sale. The next market will be at the hall on Saturday, June 22 from 11.30am to 1.30pm and then on the fourth Saturday of each month.
