THE organising committee for the Christmas Tree Festival held at Crediton Parish Church is delighted to report that it raised more than £6,500 which will be used for the repair and maintenance of the church building.

Jo Ward, committee co-ordinator and one of the church Governors, would like to thank everyone that supported the Festival in any way.

He said: "It was a great community event, enjoyed by more than 4,000 people."
