A CHRISTMAS coffee morning and table top sale was held on December 5 at the Victory Hall, Lapford in aid of CRY (Care and Relief in the Young).

One of the organisers, Grace Hill, said they were delighted that this year this event raised £302, the most they have ever made at the Christmas event and added that their June event also raised a record amount.

Rev Ray Avent thanked everyone for their generosity and help and to the ladies who served in the kitchen.
