MORCHARD BISHOP WI raised £152 at their coffee morning.
Held in the Memorial Hall, President, Angie Williamson, said that the money has been divided equally between the Morchard Bishop Memorial Hall, the WI and ACWW, to aid the WI's project to help 180 poor Dalit women who live in Tamil Nadu, India and were affected by the tsunami but have received no help.
Mrs Williamson said they were delighted with the amount raised and thanked everyone for their support. Also on show was a beautiful display of members' handicrafts.
