THE potholes in the photograph are the ones on Exhibition Road in Crediton, adjacent to the traffic island, which makes it very difficult to avoid them.

The potholes have been repaired (very badly) approximately six or seven times in the last two years, probably at a cost of more than doing the job properly in the first place.

Please could Devon County Council’s Highways Department get it put right as soon as possible.
