THE owners of a popular bistro and shop have announced that the business is to close.

Kim and Suzanne Sproat announced on social media: “After 23 years at Bickleigh Mill and 53 years in the hospitality industry, we have decided to retire.

“It’s been a fantastic journey and the loyalty of our staff and customers has been our reward.

“May we wish all those who have supported us over the years the best, and that the heritage of Bickleigh Mill is secured for generations to come in the future. Thank you all.”

They added that Bickleigh Mill Bistro and Shop will close its doors for the final time at 4pm on Wednesday, February 4, concluding: “We hope to serve you all one more time, thank you again for all the support and kind words.”
