POLICE have issued advice for farmers to be vigilant following a burglary at a farm in Rackenford, near Witheridge.

During Thursday, June 18, a Honda Quad Bike, Ifor Williams twin axle trailer and MFT flail mower were stolen from the farm.

Police said that during the previous week a white transit van with a yellow front door (unknown if this was passenger or driver door) was seen in the area, but it is unknown if this is connected.

The police advice is to please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour/vehicles to police.

Also, if you can get a registration of the vehicle, this helps the police to take action.

Farmers are advised to think about the current security on their farm.
