PETE Sharp, known locally as Big Pete, will be taking part in a charity head shave at The Mitre in Crediton on Tuesday, November 8, at 7.30pm.

Pete, who is a customer at the pub, will be raising funds for the charity SENSE, which offers a range of dedicated places and activities for people with complex disabilities.

Pete will also be donating his ponytail to the Little Princess Trust a charity that provides free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.

If anyone would like to sponsor Pete or give a donation, a collection pot and sponsor forms will be available at The Mitre.
