I READ with interest, the letter to the Courier from your correspondent, Neil Weeks, on the subject of Pedlarspool and your picture of the Flooding at that location.

As Pedlarspool is included in the Mid Devon District Council Local Plan Review, I trust Mr Weeks has forwarded his comments on to MDDC in time for the deadline for comments on March 24?

In the absence of any parishioners at our recent Parish Council Meeting to specifically listen to Liz Pickering from MDDC talk on the Local Plan Review, including references to Pedlarspool, can I please remind Sandford parishioners of the need to write again to MDDC to record their views, as it was pointed out at our meeting that their previous comments will not be automatically carried forward?

The parish council are to re-submit their comments to MDDC on proposals for Pedlarspool following previous concerns from parishioners.
