CREDITON Community Bookshop held a party to celebrate its third birthday and moving-in to new premises at 21 High Street last Friday, October 14.
Trustees, patrons and invited guests were able to see how the book shop had settled into its new home, where it has much more space, quiet reading areas, and is more central to the High Street.
Local sponsors for the evening were Bruce at Grape and Grain who supplied the most excellent Prosecco and MC Kelly and Thorne’s Farm Shop who provided delicious canapés.
A celebration cake was also cut and enjoyed.
The book shop has a vast selection of titles in stock and can also order books on request, often with next day delivery.
It is open from 9am to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 9am to 1pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
It is run by a society for the benefit of the community.
