WALKING in Church Street, Crediton, the other day I noticed that the white lines had disappeared from in front of the entry gates to the church.

This is where a hearse would stop to unload a coffin and wedding cars also need to stop there.

This means hold ups for traffic waiting to pass because at the moment a hearse or wedding car would need to stop in the centre of the road.

I also noticed there were traffic cones to be used in this space but found it most disrespectful that people appear to remove these cones to park their own cars.

Please show some respect!
