PARENTS of the charity-run Thorverton Pre-School recently got together to give the building a lick of paint.
Rather than using the pre-school’s valuable funds to pay for a professional painter they decided they would do the painting themselves during the summer holidays.
They managed to acquire all the paint and tools required (vehicle dealership VWS of Marsh Barton provided all paints and tools, with the assistance and generosity of Dulux Paint Centre, Marsh Barton).
Sharon McKee said: "We have finished all the painting now and had a few volunteers helping us out.
"Andrew Drayton, Community Champion from Tesco spent a day painting with us as well as providing a very generous donation of nibbles and refreshments."
Sharon added: "A massive thanks goes to everyone who helped."
