CREDITON Friends of Hospiscare held a Ladies Charity Pamper Night at the Boniface Centre and raised a staggering £1,067.10.

The Committee would like to express their thanks to everyone who attended the evening and had such an enjoyable time.

A spokesperson added: "Special thanks also go to the traders and beauty and massage therapists who gave up their time to help us with this event - without them, it would have not been so successful.

"A recent collection at Morrisons supermarket, in Crediton raised an amazing £545.31 and we were fortunate to have the children from Landscore and Tedburn St Mary Primary Schools who sang Christmas Carols during the collection -many thanks to them as well."
