A TEMPORARY one-day road closure on the road between Crediton and Tiverton has been announced by Devon County Council to enable Devon Highways to carry out pre-surface dressing patching.

It is anticipated that the work on the A396 Bickleigh Bridge to Burn Cross, Bickleigh will run from 7pm on Monday, January 18 until 7am on Tuesday, January 19.

However, in the event of poor weather, DCC has granted Devon Highways a further four days in which to complete the work.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via the A396 Bickleigh, A3072 Crediton, A377 Cowley, A396 Stoke Canon, Burn Farm and vice-versa.
